Easy exchange of electronic documents
Descartes-InterCommIT’s e-Documents concept allows you to exchange electronic documents simply, efficiently, securely and verifiably, even with trading partners that have not yet adopted EDI/XML message exchanging.
Exchanging non-standardized documents
Post and e-mail are commonly used methods for exchanging documents. In addition to offering advantages like broad applicability, both suffer from significant disadvantages such as the lack of verification, non-secure communication, the time required for human processing and susceptibility to human error and the time interval between sending and processing in internal systems and final payment of the invoices by the receiving party. Go-document Exchange, the secure, generic and outsourced document portal with backoffice integration, is the ideal solution for many companies that want to automate their entire communication flow.
Integrated electronic forms
Partners who do not yet use EDI/XML have the option of outsourcing their document flow by using another service offered by Descartes-InterCommIT: e-Forms service, which is based on the use of electronic forms. Trading partners (and also other users like the company’s salespeople) can use this service to complete simple web forms, which are subsequently converted to a defined EDI message (e.g. an order, electronic despatch advice or invoice) and processed automatically in the recipient’s ERP package.
